Describe your secondment’s research, outputs, host institution, and activities. Avoid jargon, acronyms and overly technical phrases. No list of references required. The text should be about 150 words long. Longer secondments than three months require further details. Address each point as they appear.
- Link with a task: Explain how your contribution is aligned to one project’s task. Refer to a specific task in the description of the work packages.
- Research outline: Outline your plans for contributing to the project through research. Describe the topic, the theory, the research problem, the method for collecting and analysing data, and the potential significance of your findings for the project.
- Scientific outputs: Present the related scientific outputs that you can reasonably deliver during the project’s lifetime. Provide the (tentative) title of each output and the name of the journal, working paper series, conference or PhD dissertation in which it can be disseminated.
- Host institution: Justify your choice of host institution and the people you intend to work with, including the sponsor. Indicate which skills you can learn, knowledge you can get, and research infrastructure you can access during the secondment.
- Training and networking: Announce the courses, seminars and conferences that you intend to participate in at the host institution to enhance your training and expand your network.
